| Madidi restaurant is a unique dining experience
located in Clarksdale, Mississippi - the heart of the Mississippi
Delta.
Owned by local attorney and businessman Bill Luckett and actor
Morgan Freeman, Madidi offers a variety of French technique dishes
ranging from Rack of Lamb to Hybrid Bass.
Set in a turn of the century building in downtown Clarksdale - "ground
zero" to blues aficionados from around the globe - Madidi's
interior walls are decorated with artwork from the Delta's many
artists. A comfortable bar and main dining area are located on the
first floor with private dining rooms located on the second floor
with seating from six to 72.
Considered to be one of Mississippi's premier dining experiences,
Madidi has been featured in Food & Wine Magazine (Feb. '01 issue).
Mississippi's leading daily newspaper,The Clarion-Ledger, stated
in a review in its (Feb. 8, '01 edition), "...[F]ound dining
at Madidi an elegant and enjoyable experience".
Madidi has a full bar and extensive wine list featuring a number
of moderately priced selections.
All dishes at Madidi are delicious and well-prepared, and diners
from near and far enjoy the lively ambiance and efficient service.
Reservations strongly suggested. Walk-ins are apppreciated but unfortunately cannot always be accommodated.
